Fuel Adjustment Fee

Gold Band Taxis has introduced a Fuel Adjustment Fee as a direct response to increasing costs. Where others have added a fixed fee to each job that does not reflect the additional costs of providing your specific journey, we believed it was fairer and more transparent to calculate the fuel adjustment based on kilometres travelled. This small per-kilometre charge helps offset the significant rise in fuel costs.

The Fuel Adjustment Fee will be added at the completion of the journey and will not appear on the fare during the trip.

In the current geo-political environment, global fuel markets have been volatile due to geopolitical tensions, supply chain issues, and changing demand. These factors have pushed fuel prices higher worldwide, impacting transportation costs.

The current Fuel Adjustment Fee is $0.15 per kilometre (including GST).
