Requirements to become a Gold Band Taxis Driver

We value professionalism and service, and we want you to feel confident from day one. Therefore, to get you there, you’ll need:

1. Current P Endorsement and Identification Card
2. Area Knowledge Certificate
3. Gold Band Permit
a. Purchase a Driver Information Folder
b. Attend a driver training class
c. Complete a practical driver training assessment
d. Pass the Gold Band Permit Test
e. Completing the Process
